Lilac Hill is a wedding reception venue about 25 minutes from Omaha, in Louisville, Nebraska. Many couples come to us for the reception only: a courthouse wedding the week before, a family ceremony at home, or a destination ceremony followed by a hometown celebration. The reception space and grounds work just as well for a stand-alone evening as they do for a full wedding day.

A reception that feels like a place, not a hall

The reception space holds warm wood, candlelight, and room to set the night up the way you actually want it. Long tables, a real dance floor, and lighting that flatters everyone in the photos. It seats an intimate group of 40 comfortably and scales up to 300 guests for a full celebration, all on private grounds you have to yourselves for the evening.

Reception-only timelines

A reception-only evening usually runs four to six hours: guest arrival and cocktails, dinner, toasts, first dance, and open dancing. Because there is no ceremony to stage, the whole night can lean into the part you actually came for. We help you build the timeline on your tour.

Close to Omaha, private for the night

The venue is an easy 25-minute drive from downtown Omaha and a short trip from Lincoln and Council Bluffs, so guests can come and go without a hotel. Since Lilac Hill hosts one event at a time, the grounds and the reception space are yours from setup to the last song.
